We have the opportunity to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Relationships do not just happen by being in the same room or knowing something about someone. It includes interacting in different ways, specifically talking to someone and getting to know them.
God’s desire for his disciples is not for them to just know about Him but to really know Him; to interact with Him; to experience Him.
From the beginning of the Bible to the end, God demonstrates that he desires to interact with his people. A life of devotion and prayer is a vital spiritual discipline that becomes the very breath of your spiritual existence. For us prayer includes praying out loud in public and in private from our own heart, using our own words.
At The Calvary Church we believe that disciples have a genuine relationship to Jesus Christ. A relationship that is best experienced through the power of prayer.
